My first lesson on photography:

Andrew: Ok, let’s talk about shooting photos and lighting.
Me: (enthusiastically) Ok!

After 30 min…
Andrew: Ok, let’s talk about the camera itself.
Me: Ok.

After 40 min…
Andrew: Ok, can digest that?
Me: I think so.
Andrew: Ok, let’s talk about the different modes in the camera.
Me: I thought that’s all! Ok…

After 40min, before going home:
Andrew: A lot to learn today hor. Think you can only absorb 20% of whatever I said.
Me: I know right! It’s perfectly normal lor.
Andrew: And that’s not all. We’ll talk about composition of photos when I come back from my Nepal trip.
Me: *&$#$^@&#! Next time I swear I’ll take notes.

My first crash course on photography was well, information overload. AF-S, AF-C, aperture, exposure, shutter speed, wide angle… But it’s still fun to learn from someone who’s an expert in this. More lessons soon!

Yesterday night at O Bar was interesting. The DJ played almost all the songs in my iPod playlist! So happy. I was also surprised that Pump It Harder, Bad Romance & Video Phone were played. So awesome!

There were an influx of ___________ and the drunkenness level was high. Trust me, being grabbed several times is definitely not a nice way to get a girl’s attention. I’m just glad nothing else happened. Guess I can only laugh it off and blame it on the fact that they were drunk. Like what Yana said, “either you choose to get drunk, or you dance. You can’t be drunk and dance at the same time.” Anyways, thanks to Doreen, Yana & PeiPei for being such tons of fun! More to come, right? (:

I’m now in holiday mode. Liberation is sweeeeet (: Just yesterday, I finished watching all 4 seasons of Coupling. Not a very huge feat though, considering that they have less than 10 episodes per season. Nonetheless, British humour is damn funny and I wished Coupling had more episodes!

By the way, I’ve decided to not re-join band for now. I realised it’s a huge commitment, and judging from past experiences, I don’t think the band and I can progress if my attendance is irregular. Kinda sad, but I know it’s for the best. Am still aiming to buy an alto sax! :D

My classes at DAS just ended, and I’ve officially ended my student life for now. I’m finally a full-time working adult! Hopefully work in 2010 will be good.

Gonna learn photography at the gardens tomorrow with another Andrew, my classmate from DAS who happens to be in the ex-co for the Singapore Photography Society. How awesome is that?! Darn cool man :D

Was talking to the Great Mind aka PeiPei on MSN, and she gave me some intellectual advice on my upcoming Stan Chart 10km:

1. Rest the entire Sat. Don’t even go out.
2. Please wake up for the race btw.
